| Hello Metroid Wiki, it is January, the first month of 2011 and many have probably noticed but not paid attention to our little [[Metroid Wiki:Skype|Skype]] section. Well, MW's Skype happens to be much more successful than MW talk pages in terms of basically getting things done. In other words, most of our major decisions have been made through Skype. That being said, I am going to put this Discussion Center to use—by archiving results of Skype chats. If not, we may end up moving these archives to some Skype archive page. Oh and btw, if you want to join our public Skype chat, it's free and convenient, ask an [[Metroid Wiki:Staff and Contact|administrator]] on his or her talk page. Plus you get to see the more interactive side of Metroid Wiki's staff team and various other active users. | ===Category reorganization===

| It has been decided that our categories are in need of reorganization. We will be doing away with Category:Mini-boss, placing any articles and files already in that category in [[:Category:Bosses]]. This is due to disagreements over the definition of a mini-boss, making consistency in their categorization come into question. While the specifics are still being worked out, Category:Enemies will be also be phased out in favor of undecided categories. These changes will take a while to finalize due to the sheer amount of pages in some of these categories. {{:User:Metroidking/sig}} 21:01, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

| It's that time again, when I get in a Metroid state of mind. I'm obviously nota major factor here, but i like this site and how it works, as well as the good times the staff has had with each other. *reminiscing flashback numero 2* Since my editing knowledge is definitely lacking compared to you guys in a technical standpoint(i.e coding, templates, infoboxes and all that BS, I just copy-paste what you guys make....), so I was wondering if I could just continue with the video series and do a lot of stuff with the forum part of the site, such as articles similar to Malake's remember me section. You know, introduce new ideas to make this wiki more user-friendly, more fun. So sorry about my seemingly inevitable absences, if it makes a difference anyway. I'm a very busy person, socially as well as educationally. I hope my incompetence in terms of editing as well as being a responsible admin is forgiven.

You are far from incompetence in terms of editing (remember the user during our first year who shall remain unnamed?). | :::EXCELLENT. i kind of just thought that I was a lost cause to this wiki. And by "things I may have forgotten," that's pretty much...well, everything. I attempted to make an article yesterday but i choked as I thought it would look terribly crappy. I think for now I'll go on a crazy video making spree, and then get into the editing stuff. Thanks for accepting me back into the circle of Metroid! And by the way, is Skype obsolete or something?
