Yoshio Sakamoto

Yoshio Sakamoto was born in July 23, 1959. It is a video game designer that works for Nintendo, and is the mastermind behind Metroid. His work starts in 1982, when he entered Nintendo, and Shigeru Miyamoto assigned him to work for a Donkey Kong Jr. game, then he designed Kid Icarus, and after, he directed the original Metroid. He has also directed Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, and Metroid: Zero Mission; and supervised the Prime series developed by Retro Studios.
