==Ridley==
Hmm, Ridley's identity sounds confusing even still to me. I was always under the impression that this was Ridley himself. It sounds on the Ridley page that this is a copy of him, but in Prime, it clearly shows him rebuilding himself with all these machines (and does the same for Omega Ridley). If it was a copy of Ridley, I would imagine it'd be a lot more explicit in scans. I'm still convinced that this is the original Metroid Ridley, rebuilt his damaged parts using machines. Then comes back in Super Metroid (with stem cell enhancements it seems this time...) and THAT is the end of Ridley 1 (hard to argue that the frozen Ridley in fusion is the same Ridley, though I imagine that's what developers intended). Other M Ridley clearly isn't the same Ridley but a cloned one. While we're on that note, I think "Ridley's Species" should be a page describing in detail the life cycle. We could go the "Ridley (species)" route, but I would prefer the first option.  {{:User:Malake256/sig}} 00:13, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
:I definitely think the [[Ridley]] page is in need of some revamping (hence the notice templates). I don't think it's under debate that Meta Ridley and Omega Ridley are both the same creature as the original Ridley. I'm not sure how he could go from his Omega form in ''Corruption'' back to his normal self in ''Super Metroid'', but given Samus's reaction in M:OM, it seems like that was probably the first time she saw a "new" Ridley. Feel free to give these two articles some overhaul. I actually think the Meta Ridley article is more ok than the Ridley article, at the moment... {{:User:Embyr_75/sig}} 05:16, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
::I'm going to agree with all of that. Her reaction in Other M I'm still going to say was not appropriate haha, considering that picture [http://metroid.retropixel.net/mprime3/screenshots/mprime3_42.jpg mk turns to], but it all makes more sense than Meta and Omega Ridley being completely different entities. {{:User:Malake256/sig}} 22:33, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
