A Darkling is an Ing-possessed creature or mechanical organism. Darklings only appear in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Abilities
Darklings have more attacks then there original light counterparts, they are stronger, and more dangerous. Darklings do have some abilities removed but those abilities are replaced by much stronger ones.
