Samus Aran: Difference between revisions

From Metroid Wiki
(+ manga info, still needs a lot of work)
(Don't think it's too detailed, doesn't really say much more than what it did before, the things I added were added so that what was already there would be understandable.)

Samus heads out and begins her mission.

During the mission, Samus notices something odd. She notes that the hunters's traces are becoming more intertwined with traces of Phazon, especially in Rundas's ice formations, Ghor's aggressiveness (a symptom of Phazon Corruption), and Gandrayda's sudden hostility towards Samus. Samus is then forced to kill the three hunters in their respective assigned destinations in order to destroy the Leviathans implanted in Bryyo, Elysia, and the Pirate Homeworld. Unfortunately on her mission, Samus realizes that the power of using Phazon to enhance weaponry can severely infect her with the Phazon Corruption's disease, just as it did to the three hunters she became forced to terminate.
During the mission, Samus notices something odd. She notices that the hunters each show signs of being taken over by Phazon Corruption due to using the PED suits. Each of the other hunters attacks Samus when she encounters them, and Samus is forced to terminate each one. While on the Pirate Homeworld, Samus learns that the hunters had been completely consumed by Phazon and were under the dominion of Dark Samus, accounting for their attacks on Samus. Dark Samus had even placed them in command of the Space Pirate forces on each planet. After destroying each Leviathan, Samus' body becomes controlled more and more by her natural Phazon; it becomes harder and harder to stay in control while in Hypermode.

After doing so, Samus completed her objectives by obliterating the Leviathans, but Aurora Unit 242 notices another spine-chilling detail. The news they bring to Samus is that there is a planet that is the source of all Phazon that is the source of the attacks from Leviathans impacting distant planets. Also, a stolen and extracted Aurora Unit from the GFS Valhalla is embedded deep within the planet to aid Dark Samus in spreading the Phazon to bring bioforms under their control. Samus is dispatched to the location while the Federation battles a Space Pirate fleet.
