Licencing

This image is a screenshot of, or official artwork for, a copyrighted video game, and the copyright for it is most likely held by the company or person that developed the game. It is believed that its use here constitutes fair use, given that:

  • it is used in a non-commercial setting, and therefore is not being used to generate profit in this context
  • its use here does not significantly impede the right of the copyright holder to sell the copyrighted material
  • it is used in a largely unaltered state, where any editing has been done purely for cosmetic/display purposes
  • the original content of the image has not been modified, and it is not a derivative work

Usage

This is meant to be used on any Image uploaded that is cover art or box art from any game. This template is only meant for Official cover art and no other kind. The sentence: "This image is [a version of box art/cover art] from [a game]." is placed by default. What is inside of brackets is changeable by using the first and second modifiers. To use this template, input:

Description

The third option is entirely optional. It is used to add more detailed description of what the image is of. It can be used as such:
