The Artifact of Sun is one of twelve artifacts Samus must retrieve from Tallon IV in Metroid Prime. When all twelve artifacts are collected, Samus brings them to the Artifact Temple to open the way to the Impact Crater.
The Artifact of Sun is located in the Chozo Ice Temple of Phendrana Drifts. To acquire the artifact, melt the ice encasing the hands of the Chozo statue using the Plasma Beam and jump into the statue's palms in Morph Ball mode.
