Crateria

The Crateria is the name given to the outermost surface area of the planet Zebes. The Crateria appears in Super Metroid and Metroid Zero Mission as the first area to be scouted by Samus. The area itself is a seemingly inhospitable one, constantly barraged by meteors and acid rain, only giving refuge, via sparse caverns, leading deep into the planet's core.
