James Pierce is a character appearing in Metroid: Other M. Pierce is the communications officer of the Galactic Federation 07th Platoon As Other M progresses, it is known that the 07th Platoon had arrived with an assassin, whose job is to eliminate all witnesses and destroy all evidence linking the Bottle Ship project to the Galactic Federation. James is speculated to be this assassin as the frozen body that is tossed into the lava in the Pryosphere had a faded "07" on his helmet as James does. There are other speculations as followed:
