The Logbook is a section of Samus's HUD that records data that she receives from the Scan Visor, as well as items that she has acquired, such as Chozo Artifacts. The Logbook has appeared in every game in the Prime series. The Logbook consists of Lore data, Creature data, Research data, and collected items data. Completing the Logbook will usually unlock bonus content, with Metroid Prime Hunters being the only exception to this rule.
