The Metroid series is a video game series that follows the adventures of Samus Aran as she goes throughout the universe defeating the Space Pirates. The Metroid series was created by Nintendo, and is still being produced today, with the latest released game being Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Nintendo Wii.
