The Positions
- Founders, Owners and Server Owners: These users have no wiki-level committments, so are not frequently seen. They manage finance, hosting, and keeping the site online.
- Manager: This user oversees the happenings at the wiki, as well as co-ordinating and hiring staff. They also do miscellaneous server work, image work, wiki-level work, and public relations.
- Wiki Operators: These are dedicated wiki users that check edits, assist users and maintain the wiki on a day to day basis. They are the most seen and active staff.
- Server Maintenance and Coding: These users install extensions, edit configuration settings as well as editing the skin and other server related tasks, using PHP, CSS, HTML and Wikicode.

- Graphics and Image Editor - Including skin redesigns, creating original images and editing images such as in Picture Requests.
- Marketing, SEO and Public Relations - Including promoting and advertising Metroid Wiki to increase traffic and users, as well as improving search engine results.
