Mochtroid

Template:Enemy-infobox Mochtroids are cloned Metroids featured in Super Metroid. They reside in Maridia. Mochtroids are capable of draining energy, but they cannot latch onto their prey and their bodies are much frailer than other Metroids allowing Samus to easily defeat them. They can be killed instantly with the Grapple Beam. They are the first evidence of the Space Pirate's efforts to clone metroids that Samus encounters.
