Warrior Ing are the primary soldiers of the Ing and one of the most common types of Ing. Like other Ing, they can shapeshift into amorphous puddles and climb any surface. They attack with transdimensional energy beams, ramming attacks, and can also slash opponents with their sharp forelegs.[1]

Properties[edit | edit source]

Warrior Ing are the first type of Ing Samus encounters. After Dark Samus destroys a Light Crystal, a large group of Warrior Ing attack Samus and take most of her equipment.

Most Warrior Ing possess other creatures, but the Ing that absorb the Space Jump Boots and the Boost Ball do not, incorporating the elements of the stolen equipment instead. Like all other Ing, Warrior Ing are weak to the Light Beam and are instantly killed if they enter the range of Energized Crystals.[1][2] If a Super Crystal or Super Beacon is nearby, they will be drawn towards it and instantly be killed by the destructive field.
