| Shortly after the Alpha Sandigger attacks [[Samus Aran|Samus]], it is possessed by the Ing that stole Samus's [[Morph Ball Bomb]]s. The Bomb Guardian's second head mutates and gains the ability to drop Bombs. It will crawl around the arena, dropping several bombs out behind its tail, or spraying several bombs in a spreadshot pattern. Its mandibles will not open, preventing Samus from attacking the Bomb Guardian. Its tail is more sensitive however, allowing Samus to temporarily stun the creature with enough damage.
