The battle begins with a single Amorbis burrowing in and out of the ground. [[Samus Aran|Samus]] has to fire at it until it attaches to the Dark Sphere at the center of the temple. While attached to it, the Amorbis gain armor as well as the ability to fire up to three sustained beams of energy simultaneously and bursts of powerful energy that may nullify safe zones. While avoiding these attacks, Samus has to fire at its head until its armor shatters.
