Annihilator Beam

The Annihilator Beam is a powerful weapon in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes which combines the properties of the Light Beam and the Dark Beam. It has a sonic resonance due to its high energy levels, and it allows Samus to interface with sonic locking systems. The beam is fueled by a mix of Light and Dark Beam Ammunition, and will cease proper function if one or both sources of ammunition are depleted. The beam is obtained upon the defeat of the Quadraxis in the temple located in the Ing Hive.
