The '''Command Chamber''' is a room in the [[Temple Grounds]]. The room connects the [[Hive Tunnel]] to the [[Hive Storage]]. The room has two main sections connected by a [[Morph Ball]] tunnel. [[Federation Marine]] corpses can be found throughout the room, as well as four [[Worker Splinter|Worker Splinters]] on [[Samus Aran|Samus's]] first visit. 

The first area of the room circles clockwise. A large security door is found on the northernmost wall that can be opened using a nearby [[Scan Visor|Scan Terminal]], but that terminal is inactive initially. This door is supported by a number of bars that Samus can only get past by going underneath using the Morph Ball. There is another area that can be reached using a Morph Ball tunnel. This tunnel has a gate in it that must be destroyed with a [[Morph Ball Bomb]]. 

The second section is circular with a central pillar which has a [[Bomb Slot]] on the far end that will activate the Scan Terminal in the other room. Using this bomb slot will also cause the Marine corpses to become possessed by [[Ing]] and become the hostile, zombie-like [[Dark Trooper|Dark Troopers]]. A total of eleven Dark Troopers will appear on Samus's first visit, but only three remain on subsequent visits. Behind the security door is an area filled with Dark Troopers and cocoons, as well as the door to the Hive Storage. There are also two [[Trooper Log|Trooper Logs]] can be obtained here, one for [[Trooper Logs#GSGT C. Benet|GSGT C. Benet]] and one for [[Trooper Logs#SPC B. Reevs|SPC B. Reevs]].
