Amiral Dane has a prominint role in Metroid Prime 3, as he and the Aurora Unit 242 give Samus orders to disable the 3 Leviatan Seeds. After Samus destroys the seeds, Dane requests her to infultrate the Leviatan starship, which is capable of creating a wormhole to Phaaze, the planet which is hurling the Leviatan seeds.
