The '''Great Bridge''' is a large room in [[Torvus Bog]]. It connects the [[Path of Roots]], [[Torvus Map Station]], [[Portal Chamber]], [[Abandoned Worksite]], and the [[Temple Access (Torvus Bog)|Temple Access]].

==Appearance and Navigation==
As its name implies, the most notable feature of the room is a large bridge in the center on the room that leads to [[Torvus Temple]]. Underneath there is a shallow body of water that [[Samus Aran|Samus]] can walk through easily. It is the [[Aether|Aetherian]] counterpart of the [[Venomous Pond]]. When Samus enters for the first time, she'll be greeted by multiple [[Shrieker]]s on the lower level. After having visited the [[Forgotten Bridge]] on the other side of the bog, these will be replaced by [[Grenchler|Grenchlers]] and, later, [[Dark Pirate Commando]]s on random visits. On all visits, several [[Shriekbat]]s guard the door to the upper level of the [[Temple Access]].

The room houses several [[Torvus Bearerpod]]s, and a few [[Torvus Hanging Pod]]s as well. There's a small tunnel between the ledge where one can access the [[Abandoned Worksite]] and the bridge itself. Samus can enter it using [[Morph Ball]] mode and behind a [[Denzium]] wall, she can grab a [[Power Bomb Expansion]]. There's also a [[Kinetic Orb Cannon]] in the room that will shoot Samus onto the bridge, but only once the Interface Module next to the Abandoned Worksite entrance has been activated. Like most of the rooms in Torvus Bog, there's a [[Sentinel Crystal]] in the room, implied to be relaying information to [[U-Mos]].

The room has several [[Door|doors]] to multiple locations, including one [[Blue Door]] to the [[Path of Roots]] and another to the [[Torvus Map Station]], though there's a green [[Translator Door]] blocking the entrance to the Map Station that can only be unlocked after speaking to [[A-Voq]] and having your [[Translator Module]] updated. There's a Blue Door and a [[Purple Hatch]] on the upper and lower levels of the bridge that both lead to the [[Temple Access (Torvus Bog)|Temple Access]]. The [[Portal Access]] door has a [[Red Blast Shield]] on it, and the Abandoned Worksite lies behind a [[White Hatch]].
