The lumigek is a small gekco like creature found only in the second room of the impact crater. Lumigeks are completely dependent on phazon they use it for both defense and their food. The Lumigek appears as a small gray gekko with a red stripe down their spine. Lumigek have transparent skin two large eyes and a long tail. They are the only species that survie in the orange phazon so it is likely that they lay their eggs and raise their young in it. Lumigek travel in huge swarms from one hundred to five hundred in the smaller swarms to five thousand to twenty-five thousand in the largest.

The only defenses that the Lumigek have is that they travel in swarms and they radiate deadly phazon. The lumigek probably origanate on Phaaze and travel to other planets by use of the levithans.
