The Mega Core-X is the Template:X that stole the Varia Suit from NOC's Data Room before Samus was able to download it. When she battles it, Samus is unable to use Missiles at first due to the smaller X circling around it. After damaging it with the Charge Beam several times, Samus can attack its Core X
