Omega Ridley is assumed to be [[Phazon Corruption|corrupted by Phazon]]. His weaknesses are his usual mouth, which can be attacked only as Omega Ridley attacks from his mouth, and his chest, which can be ripped open using the [[Grapple Lasso]] after he is stunned and has fallen on the ground.

After Omega Ridley is defeated, Samus can destroy the Leviathan core, and, in effect, the Leviathan seed.
