Template:Enemy-infobox Pirate Commandos are the elite forces of the Space Pirate military dedicated to hunting Samus.[1] Pirate Commandos were introduced in Metroid Prime 2.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

Samus encounters Pirate Commandos only twice in Metroid Prime 2, in Torvus Bog and in Sanctuary Fortress. They are armed with an energy scythe, pulse cannons, and an EMP grenade launcher similar to that of the Pirate Grenadier. Pirate Commandos can also temporarily generate a shield that can deflect nearly all attacks.[1]
