The ''Metroid'' series was one of the first Nintendo series I was introduced to, with ''[[Metroid II: Return of Samus]]'' being my first. Like most other people, I first thought the main character was a guy, but that Samus was the bad guy due to the ominous title, heh. I later played many other ''Metroid'' games, with ''[[Metroid Prime | The ''Metroid'' series was one of the first Nintendo series I was introduced to, with ''[[Metroid II: Return of Samus]]'' being my first.
