'''''Frigate Orpheon''''' is a [[Space Pirate]] vessel that stores much data from many creatures native to Planet [[Zebes]]. It appears in ''[[Metroid Prime (game)|Metroid Prime]]''. [[Samus Aran]] is sent there after she recieves a distress signal from its remaining crew. The [[Parasite|Parasites]] escaped from their cells, killing much of the crew. Samus infiltrated the disaster, only to confront a [[Parasite Queen]] that fell into the ship's reactor and caused it to crash, Samus barely escaping. She lost all of her upgrades, as commonly happens in early stages of Metroid games, in an explosion in one of the elevators.
