Metroid (species)

Metroids are parasitic beings which leech energy from living organisms. They are a subject of curiosity and research for Space Pirates.

Zebes

On Zebes, the Space Pirates gathered Metroids for experimentation. When Samus attacked, the Metroids were used to defend the Space Pirate outpost in Tourian.
