Sentry Drone

Sentry Drones are used by the Space Pirates for patrols, typically in pairs. They are armed with two cannons that can fire in shorts bursts and they can also fire a sustained energy beam. When they detect intruders they will close off the area to deal with the intruders, the lockdown can only be shut down if the drones are destroyed. At close range that can disrupt Samus's visor. They can easily be overloaded by the electrical pulses of the Wave Beam. Samus encounters them in Phendrana Drifts.[1]
