Metroid II: Return of Samus: Difference between revisions

[[Samus Aran|Samus]] lands on the desolate planet [[Zebes]] and enters a cave. Inside, she encounters a number of different types of life forms, such as [[Hornoad]]s or [[Metroid (species)|Metroid]]s. [[Alpha Metroid]]s, [[Gamma Metroid]]s, [[Zeta Metroid]]s, and even [[Omega Metroid]]s are all encountered. She continues deeper into the planet, forced to eliminate every Metroid as she goes along due to a mysterious dangerous fluid that prevents further progress. She reaches the bottom of the caverns and finds a giant [[Queen Metroid]]. After a large battle, [[Samus Aran|Samus]] continues in and, right in front of her, a [[Metroid Hatchling]] hatches. Rather than attack her, it follows her, taking her as a maternal figure. Seeing the potential for scientific discoveries, she decides not to terminate it.  She returns to [[Samus Aran's Gunship|her ship]] by way of an escape cavern.
