The '''Battleground''' is a room in the [[Dark Agon Wastes]]. It is the [[Dark Aether]] counterpart to the [[Central Mining Station]], and as such is extremely similar. The room connects the [[Warrior's Walk]], by a [[Green Blast Shield]], to the [[Double Path]], by both a [[White Hatch]] and a [[Purple Hatch]].  The room is sandy and rocky, with two levels. The lower level has a number of [[Light Beacon]]s surrounding a [[Safe Zone]]. There is a [[Dark Temple Key]], in the Safe Zone, but it can only be obtained after defeating six [[Warrior Ing]]. The upper level can only be accessed from the upper path of the Double Path, which in turn can only be accessed from the upper level of the [[Doomed Entry]]. There are a number of invisible platforms that can only be seen using the [[Dark Visor]]. The other end of the level has a [[Flying Ing Cache]] that contains a [[Sky Temple Key]].
