Ridley appears first (as Meta Ridley) in the air in this game. He destroys the [[Chozo Statues]] with the [[Artifacts]] in them. He flies through the air with unbelievable grace. But, then he is destined to die. He flies around firing missiles out of his chest, and occasionally lands to greet Samus in ground combat. The best way to knock his wings off is to use Samus's [[Boost Ball]] to ram into him while he is on the ground. Now he is stuck to your level and will lunge at Samus similar to the way Samus used her [[Boost Ball]]. Now Samus must fire her [[WaveBuster]] (an optional upgrade) to kill him fastest.
