The '''Luminoth''', like the [[Chozo]], are a remarkably advanced race. They are moth-like beings who have an immense social and spiritual centralization with light. They are the last of the known Higher races, as both the [[Chozo]] and [[Alimbic]]s are now likely extinct, the former assumed to have nothing more than an ethereal state of being in the world, the other being destroyed by Gorea with horrifying speed and are nothing more than essences now as well.

The Luminoth are a race of beings which make their home on the planet Aether. They are technologically advanced and harness the Energy of Aether to power their machinery.

Origins

The Luminoth made their home on Aether after wandering the stars searching for a suitable planet on which to live. It is not known how or where they came into being, though.
