Phazon
From Metroid Wiki
Phazon is a highly radioactive substance that plays a major role in the Metroid Prime series. In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, phazon is inside of Samus's body and sometimes overloads it. She can vent phazon through her arm cannon while in Hyper Mode.
