| The '''Arctic Spawn''' is a creature found on [[Arcterra]]. It lives in cold habitats, burrowing in the ice to move. They are extremely violent, and will attack any creature that comes near. They are extremely vulnerable to attacks of extreme heat, such as the [[Magmaul]], in the mouth. [[Samus Aran|Samus]] encounters one when exploring Arcterra. The Arctic Spawn appears to be of a similar species to the [[Fire Spawn]], being almost identical to it.
