Profile

Commander K. Sterling was the pilot of the G.F.S. Tyr and a member of Squad Bravo of the GFMC Task Force Herakles.[1] While in pursuit of an unknown Space Pirate frigate, a storm in Aether's atmosphere endangered the entire crew. Sterling was forced to make an emergency landing on the surface of Aether. The landing site would be the last known coordinates of the fated squad. [2]

Fate

By the time Samus arrived, some eight days later, the pilot and the rest of Squad Bravo were discovered and presumed dead. The ones responsible for the numerous fatalities would be the Ing, which obliviously ambushed the troopers during their trial of survival aboard the Temple Grounds. [3] Sterling's seating assignment aboard the G.F.S. Tyr was in the cockpit, directly in front of Captain A. Exeter, the leader of the squad.
