The room is accessed from the [[Dark Controller Access (Dark Agon Wastes)|Dark Controller Access]].
The room houses an [[Energy Controller]], which holds holds the [[Light of Aether|planetary energy]] of the Dark Agon Wastes. The first time [[Samus Aran|Samus]] enters the room, she uses the [[Energy Transfer Module]] to drain the energy, which turns the sky blood red and angers the [[Ing]], who attack Samus as she tries to return to the [[Agon Energy Controller|Energy Controller]] in [[Agon Wastes]].
