*Samus can defeat the Dark Missile Trooper faster by freezing it with a charged Dark Beam then shattering it with a Missile than she can with the Light Beam. They share this characteristic with [[Dark Pirate Commando|Dark Pirate Commandos]].  

*Even if Samus encounters the Ing before battling the Dark Missile Trooper, the scans will still refer to the Ing as an "unknown biomass".
