Profile

Gunnery Sergeant C. Benet served as a first trooper aboard the G.F.S. Tyr as a member of Squad Bravo of the GFMC Task Force Herakles,[1] and was assigned to Force Two after the emergency landing on Aether. Benet's objective was among the other troopers in Squad Bravo who acted as bait to lure Splinters into pesticide traps to help eliminate portions of the Ing Horde.[2][3] Benet's seating assignment aboard the Tyr was beside Specialist D. Senge.

Fate

Sergeant C. Benet's death is unknown. Possibly death while trying to elude the Splinters as his position as "bait" was the cause, or he was killed along with the other surviving troopers during one of the Ing's ambush attacks.

Logbook

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: GSGT C. Benet
There's something wrong with the lock systems in this section. They've failed twice, locking us out until someone came along to let us in. If it happens again while we're playing "bait" for those things...well, at least we'll go out fighting, instead of hiding in the control area.[2]
