The '''Hyper Ball''', or '''Hyperball''', is the first [[Hypermode]] upgrade in ''[[Metroid Prime 3: Corruption]]''. It is exclusive to ''Corruption'' and is obtained after defeating [[Mogenar]], [[Bryyo]]'s [[Leviathan]] guardian. When [[Samus Aran|Samus]] is in [[Morph Ball]] mode and activates Hypermode, she can send out streams of [[Phazon]] energy into enemies. This electricity's range is up to five meters and can attack even airborne enemies. These streams lock on to multiple enemies, so long as they are all close enough. This makes the Hyper Ball extremely effective against multiple targets, especially in enclosed areas. | |||
