Minako Hamano is a composer who has contributed to the Metroid series on many occasions.
Discography
Hamano is credited with creating the soundtracks of the following Metroid games:
- 1994, Super Metroid (with Kenji Yamamoto)
- 2002, Metroid Fusion (with Akira Fujiwara)
- 2004, Metroid: Zero Mission (with Kenji Yamamoto)
- 2007, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (with Kenji Yamamoto and Masaru Tajima)
Trivia
Hamano was originally supposed to do voice work for Samus Aran in Super Metroid, but Kenji Yamamoto thought it ended up sounding too sexual. The voice was not used in the final version of the game.[1]
