The Missile Expansion, also referred to as Missile Tank, is a common upgrade in the Metroid series, it increases Samus's maximum Missile supply by five. The exceptions to this rule are Metroid Prime Hunters Where missile they expand maximum missile count by ten, and Metroid: Zero Mission where in hard mode Missile expansions only increase missile count by three, and Other M by one.
