Old Bird is one of the few remaining Chozo. He has only fully appeared in the Metroid manga, but there is artwork depicting him in Metroid: Zero Mission. After Samus's parents' deaths, Old Bird took Samus to the Chozos' home planet Zebes and took her in as one of their own.

History

Old bird it is a chozo that first appeared in the metroid manga,

although he is also referenced in a segment of metroid zero mission.

When samus was 3 years old, space pirates attacked K2-L and killed all humans,

of this attack only samus survived,

It was found by the old bird and taken to the planet Zebes where it grew up with the chozos.
