The '''Pit Tunnel''' is a room in the [[Magmoor Caverns]]. The room is extremely hot and will damage [[Samus Aran|Samus]] if she does not have the [[Varia Suit]]. In the center of the room, there is a large tube containing lava. This tube sends of four streams of fire at regular intervals. The two sections of the room are separated by a fence. Samus can only get past by using the [[Morph Ball]] to go underneath the fence. This small area has a number of [[Triclops]] in it. On later visits, Samus can use the [[Space Jump Boots]] to just jump over the fence.
