The Sanctuary Temple is a room in Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
The Sanctuary Temple is a room in Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

Features
Like all the temples on Aether, the temple is enormous. It is neatly structured with complex architecture in the distance. Samus can see the stone that the Fortress is made of above the temple walls. It contains many ledges that Samus can use to make her way to the Energy Controller or any of the other ways out of the room.
Like all the temples on Aether, the temple is enormous. Within this space are several scaffolding platforms placed around components of an incomplete Quadraxis unit. Evidently, this room was used as a construction site by O-Lir, the Sentinel of the Temple, in his creation of Luminoth mechanoids. Whether this unit was meant to be a complement to the Quadraxis unit that ended up in the Hive, or was being built to combat it, is unclear.

Two Quad units, which become possessed immediately, are in the room the first time Samus enters. In later visits, they are replaced by three Mekenobites.
There are also two Dark Quad units in the room the first time Samus comes in. In later visits, they are replaced by 3 Mekenobites. There are also several posts of an incomplete Quadraxis drone.

Grapple Points and Spider Ball Tracks supplement the scaffolding platforms for navigation purposes. The way to the Workers Path is blocked by a Cobalt-encoded Translator Door, and the way to the Sentinel's Path is blocked by a Gray Hatch.
