The '''Twin Fires''' is a room in the [[Magmoor Caverns]]. The room is extremely hot and will damage [[Samus Aran|Samus]] if she does not have the [[Varia Suit]]. This room connects the [[Twin Fires Tunnel]] to the [[North Core Tunnel]]. The room is divided into two main sections. The room closest to the Twin Fires Tunnel has a number of fire jets near the door. The center of the room has a pool of lava with a [[Magmoor]] in it. The only way across is to use a [[Missile]] to dislodge a [[Stalactite]] from the ceiling to make a platform. Samus can also use the [[Grapple Beam]] to get across. The second room is larger than the first but has similar elements. Samus must use a number of Stalactites to get across a roundabout path with a number of [[Puffer]]s. The Grapple Beam can also be used here. A [[Purple Door]] leads to the North Core Tunnel. The tunnel between the two areas has two horizontal fire jets.
