The '''Lava Lake''' is a room in the [[Magmoor Caverns]]. The room is extremely hot and will damage [[Samus Aran|Samus]] if she does not have the [[Varia Suit]]. The room is divided into two sections connected by a [[Morph Ball]] tunnel. The first area Samus enters is connected to the [[Lake Tunnel (Magmoor Caverns)|Lake Tunnel]]. This room has a [[Magmoor]] near the entrance along with a number of [[Puffer]]s. The main part of the area has a floor of lava except for a few platforms and a central column. This central column can be destroyed with a few [[Missile]]s or a [[Super Missile]] to reveal the [[Artifact of Nature]]. At the far end of the area, there are a number of crates blocks a part of the wall that can be destroyed by a [[Morph Ball Bomb]] to reveal the connecting Morph Ball tunnel. The second area is noticeably smaller, but is still essentially a lava filled area with a central column with a few platforms. There are a few Puffers here, but no Magmoor. This area is connected to the [[Pit Tunnel]]. Both areas have [[Grapple Point]]s on the ceiling that can be used as shortcuts.
