Differences in collection sound between versions?

Not sure if this has been noted elsewhere, but I didn't find anything to suggest it was. I was watching runs of Prime 2, and I realised that the original version used a shortened version of the Luminoth theme, while the Trilogy version (at least) used its own theme. You're absolutely right, the key collection fanfare in the original Echoes and the Trilogy version is different. Feel free to add that in the article.
