Sentry Drone

Sentry Drones are used by the Space Pirates for patrols, typically in pairs. They are armed with two cannons that can fire in shorts bursts and they can also fire a sustained energy beam. At close range, the drones disrupt Samus's visor.
When intruders are detected, the drones lockdown the area and attack. Once Samus destroys the drones, the lockdown can be shut down. They can easily be overloaded by the electrical pulses of the Wave Beam. Samus encounters them in Phendrana Drifts.[1]
A Cloaked Sentry Drone in the Central Dynamo defends the Power Bomb upgrade.
