The Dark Transit Station is little more than a tunnel connecting the Trial Grounds and the Duelling Range in Dark Agon Wastes. The center of the room is a bridge that spans a large chasm, and swarms of airborne mechanisms called Airthorns, exclusive to this chamber, encircle it. Because Samus only encounters Airthorns in this room while in Morph Ball mode, it is impossible to scan them in regular gameplay.
The side of the room closest to the Duelling Range contains two Bladepods.
