Dark Preeds are Preeds possessed by Ing. As with Preeds, they have armored bodies and are filled with toxic gasses. The Ing possession results in an increase in the deadliness of the toxin and a more durable armor. If their armor is breached, they will explode. Samus encounters them in Dark Agon, Dark Torvus, and in the Ing Hive
